Women Owned Law 2025 Symposium
From Vision to Expansion: Building a Thriving Practice

EVENT AGENDA

Tuesday, April 8th:

Join us on April 8th from 1:30pm - 3:30pm for a walking tour of Philadelphia's City Hall! As a Symposium attendee this a great opportunity to meet other attendees before Symposium. This tour offers the opportunity to learn interesting facts and view the building's grandest rooms, which also includes a tour around the building's perimeter that explores the more than 250 sculptures designed by Alexander Milne Calder that adorn the structure.

Following the walking tour, we will be hosting dinner at Maggiano's Little Italy in downtown Philadelphia. Cocktail Hour begins at 5:00pm, with dinner to begin at 6pm. This is a great opportunity for symposium attendees to gather and network with one another prior to the full-day Symposium. We'll host our annual awards ceremony at this dinner to acknowledge some of our outstanding Women Owned Law Members.

Wednesday, April 9th:

The Main Symposium will be packed-full of exciting sessions, a town-hall session, speed networking, and open networking opportunities!

NEW: Fireside Chat Justice Wainer Apter

Be a part of an engaging conversation with Justice Rachel Wainer Apter, New Jersey Supreme Court Associate Justice, at our Symposium on April 9th.  Justice Wainer Apter will join us for a fireside chat and share lessons that she learned while clerking for Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, thoughts on advancing women in the legal profession, the future of the courts and more.

Justice Wainer Apter is an accomplished lawyer and jurist.  She is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and Harvard Law School.  She clerked for the legendary Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and has held key leadership roles, including Director of the New Jersey Division on Civil Rights and counsel to the New Jersey Attorney General.  She now is a member of the New Jersey Supreme Court.
